Job Description:

Over the next 5 years, Mars Petcare is embarking on an unprecedented Digital Technologies (DT) change agenda as part of its 'Digitization at Scale' strategy.

In this role you will lead the Digital Technologies Portfolio Management Office (its people, process and tools) for the Division, and partner with the Divisional DT Leadership team, DT associates and wider business leaders in helping to drive this ambitious DT portfolio of change for the Division.

This role sits within the Petcare DT Portfolio Management Office organisation helping to provide consistency of practice across the Segment and its Divisions.

What will be your main responsibilities?

  • As the Divisional Portfolio Management Office Lead you will be tasked with leading the preparation and facilitation of executive business leadership forums monthly to drive the Digital Technologies Divisional change agenda

  • Partner with the Divisional DT leaders to ensure the broad portfolio of change is accurately captured and managed against agreed governance to help drive value for the Division.

  • Facilitates Mars signature annual strategic business planning processes, consulting with Divisional DT leaders to align business needs and targets with clear agreed strategic outcomes

  • Works with Transformation Programme Management Office Leader to ensure the holistic DT change agenda is represented for the Division in key forums

  • Partner with demand owners and delivery team members to ensure divisional demand meets quality assurance and compliance standards are met both at the individual initiative level and at a globally rolled-up level

  • Supports the wider Petcare DT Portfolio Management Office team to improve portfolio process and ways of working across the segment

  • Leads the implementation and change management of portfolio management improvements to the Division e.g. Benefits Management or Risk Management

  • You will also act as the Divisional Communications Lead working with the Divisional Chief Information Officer (CIO) and key partners to drive communicating effectively to senior business leaders and all Divisional DT associates

  • You will plan and facilitate the Divisional DT Management team meetings, helping the Divisional CIO to drive the DT strategic agenda

  • You will support the Divisional CIO and Segment Senior PMO Manager in Segment DT Governance Forums, Annual Portfolio Planning and monthly reporting requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or relevant business function (e.g. Commercial) or equivalent hands-on experience in a Portfolio/Project/Programme discipline

  • Proven experience in a related IT discipline

  • Experience in Business Partnering with Senior Leadership
