  • Mars Wrigley Digital Technologies focuses on bringing new technology into our segment and functions to enable value creation and drive business objectives. Mars is accelerating on its Digital Transformation and this role is a key contributor of this transformation in the demand area.

    This role provides leadership for demand data & analytics area for Mars Wrigley Europe. The scope includes driving, implementing and coordinating the needs for Mars Wrigley (using digital, data and user insights to transform our business by finding answers to problems that we’ve often never asked ourselves before) to achieve the outcomes and realise the benefits of strategic importance to the organisation. The initial responsibility is to successfully deliver the Mars Wrigley Europe Demand Analytics needs and establishing governance within Product Owners. Partnership with Mars Wrigley Product Owners, Functional Business Partners, Mars Digital Technology directors, and business units leaders to deliver business transformation and mindset shifts is key.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Accountable and responsible for large Product Organization of up to $3M in annual spends, securing benefits delivery through expert management of quality, costs and time.

    Provide an expertise for Demand Data & Analytics solution

    Functional knowledge about Sales and/or SRM

    Coordinating, directing and implementing of a Product Backlog and transformational activities.

    Own and lead the Product governance processes with relevant unit/function leaders and Mars Digital Technology Directors/Senior Management.

    Management of senior stakeholders within specific functional areas.

    Leads a high performing team of up to 5 to 15 contractors (could be spread in multiple teams).

    Oversees the build and delivery of the analytics capabilities through the Development and Deployment teams and ensures successful handover to Global Digital Operations.

    Be an ambassador of Agile methodology/delivery, role model change management and embrace Mars Digital Technologies ways of working and initiatives (like Velocity).

    Responsible for building and maintaining a high performing Product teams

    Applies technical and functional knowledge to design solutions which are in line with technical architecture, database design and performance requirements; and which are appropriate given the context within which they will be implemented.
