The role is responsible for achieving profitable sales growth with CVS for the Mars Snacking business. This role is expected to lead high performing team of senior customer managers/analysts to achieve company, team objectives business and personal objectives at CVS. This role is expected to maintain strong relationships at every level of the customer to best create and lead customer plans that deliver objectives of: revenue, growth, profit, product/assortment, placement/everyday shelving, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and seasonal merchandising. This role will work closely with internal and external partners to achieve these objectives.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10 years of experience in CPG sales required
- Key Account Management experience (Large & Small)
- P&L Management experience
- Broker Management experience preferred
- Experience in Customer Marketing preferred
- People Leadership experience preferred
- Demonstrated application of Category based selling
- The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel 40% of the time
- Ability to work in-office 3 days a week minimum.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Operational control to include forecasting, budget maintenance and negotiations
- Lead Joint business planning to deliver customer solutions for profitable sales growth for products/assortment, placement and everyday shelving and merchandising, pricing, promotion and seasonal merchandising are created and executed to achieve customer objectives, category leadership and company objectives.
- Leading Cross functional internal and external relationships in support of overall business objectives
- Influence Customer to implement solutions through fact-based presentations that deliver results that are beneficial for both customer and company
- Manage new product launches with timely and effective execution to maximize customer impact in the marketplace
- Execute all Customer solutions and ensure analytics in place for both proactive and reactive actions for continual improvement for both customer and company
- Leverage insights of team members, data (data analyses, trends, etc.) and resources (internal sales, CD, etc.) to continually bring new growth ideas to Customer and company; incorporate in all customer solutions
- Oversee all Customer daily activities to ensure consistent operational execution and follow through on plans
- Manage customer trade funds that complies with internal and external requirements
- Planning talent needs, recruiting, hiring and selecting talent for Customer team
- Mentoring, coaching, championing team members to realize team objectives.
- Setting expectations and overseeing the achievement of individual objectives, monitoring performance and providing on-going feedback
- Coaching and influencing optimal performance and achievement of company, customer and team objectives

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 153,600.00 - USD 211,200.00
