What are we looking for?
This role is responsible for leading the category growth agenda with one of the top customers, through building best in class relationships (personally and through the team). The role drives performance and category functional excellence of their direct reports, who are responsible for developing category growth insights based solutions to help build best in class customer partnerships.
This role sits on the Category Leadership Team and will play a role in supporting setting the strategic direction for the function. The role will be the voice of the customer, category and shopper within the business.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Provide leadership for the overall drafting, development and delivery of short- and long-term customer category strategy.
- Lead engagement with the customer through the Snacking category vision ensuring a strong understanding of the category growth drivers and how they translate to growth opportunities
- Build strong and influential relationships both internally and externally with senior stakeholders, based on delivering shopper, channel and category centric solutions so that Mars Wrigley is viewed as THE category trusted expert.
- People Leadership – Line manager associates. Responsible for developing, directing, engaging and leading a high performing team, in line with Mars Wrigley line manager principles
