As a BDS Product Lead, you will be reporting to the BDS Product Manager and sit on the BDS Royal Canin team responsible for managing best-in-class products and services across the whole Royal Canin non-ERP ecosystem. The main focus will be to collaborate to define products for the SCP, WMS, and Supply areas.

Constantly working on global product capability improvement through process optimisation and day-to-day operations management. Developing and setting new targets for vendors and associates in the team to drive service improvements.

What are we looking for?

  • Leadership of services with global responsibilities around design, development, deployment, support, maintenance, and further evolution.
  • The role is done with remote management with a global geographical scope.
  • The role implies coordination and communication with multiple Mars DT teams, in the same division or in other Mars DT divisions.
  • The role also involves interaction and communication with business users, especially with regard to SCP, WMS, and Supply areas.
  • The role involves interaction with external vendors.
  • Responsible for financial management costs for SCP, WMS, and Supply-related activities, as well as for local and regional applications managed by BDS.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Manage the relationship with partners and third-party vendors: align expectations, objectives, and KPIs.
  • Review the quality of service delivered by the partners and vendors and manage escalations or improvements if needed.
  • Financials: participate in budget building and periodic financial management of budgets (purchase orders, cross-charges, cost plan updates, tracking risks and opportunities).
  • Create and manage demand and project records on ServiceNow PPM.
  • Escalation point for support issues and crisis management
  • Stakeholder Management: manage and collaborate with the business process lead team, KUs and FEs, digital technology functional and regional leaders, project sponsors and managers, and third-party vendors and partners to deliver against the agreed scope, quality, and time.
  • Engage in early program and project discussions to understand complexity, align stakeholders and teams on resources, and determine the budget needed for the project timelines.
  • Respect the five principles, promote Mars standards, and attend to the necessities of the business
