BDS Master Data Senior Analyst

Job Purpose

The BDS Master Data Senior Analyst provides functional and technical expertise and support to Global business users, including ITIL Service Delivery processes, Delivery of continuous improvements, projects, and Technology ownership.

This role manages operational performance of offshore contractors: sets the target, monitors execution, manages, and measures the team performance for the selected areas.

This role is responsible for the level of Services provided to the Customers and its constant improvement.

  • 3-5 years of application support, development, or project experience in various SAP functional areas
  • 3-5 experience within Master Data area. MDG (SAP Solution) knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment, manages multiple activities and priorities, and work well under pressure.
  • Full cycle project experience as functional consultant for deployment of business applications is preferred.
  • Good business process understanding on FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry is preferred

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Responsible for Master Data Support Services Delivery within established KPIs and according to ITOM/ITIL standards
  • Provide expert level support and guide Mars Vendors through the resolution of complex issues.
  • Build strong relationships with customers across region and globally. Represent Mars Digital Technologies organization and create positive image through this partnership and collaboration, being escalation point for business within area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that incidents raised by Functional experts and Key users are resolved within the service level agreements.
  • Work with other teams globally, regionally, and locally to ensure global coverage is provided, to build professional network within organization for best practices sharing.
  • Continuously identify opportunities and work on system improvements to meet business’ growing requirements.
  • Plan, develop, test, and implement global/regional/local Application solutions for business, enhancements (CIP-Continuous Improvements) that deliver genuine business benefit.
  • Maintain effective relationships and WoW with strategic partners (External Vendors), Manage and Measure Vendor performance.
  • Gather expert knowledge in technique/functional area, build template, govern solutions and changes, ensure up-to date documentation, roadmap ownership.
  • Be part of the decision for Functional/Technical changes governance within identified area.
  • Perform Quality & Assurance analysis for productionizing projects/new changes.
  • Role gives unique opportunity to Support Major business transformation Programs on a Global Level
  • Involvement in project activity, including supportability advice and providing support to Development Teams during the systems delivery lifecycle.
  • Lead Service Introduction (Take On) Activities
  • Manage and measure systems upgrades through vendor and other Mars teams.
  • Report across Service metrics: incident/problem/request/change management; provide insights and drive positive trend across KPIs.
  • Partner with external vendors, be able to build and sustain effective relationships for business systems improvements including system patching, security controls, audits.
  • Set up and drive effective communication strategy with Customers/Vendors/internal Mars DT teams.
  • Lead automation initiatives of routine tasks increasing efficiency and quality of provided services
