Summary:

We are seeking a bilingual Operations Supervisor (English/French) to oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound schedules, managing staffing and productivity, ensuring safety compliance, and leading up to 200 employees to meet operational and customer performance goals. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication, scheduling, and problem-solving skills who thrives in a high-volume operation and is flexible to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including afternoons, nights, and weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews inbound appointment log and open order report each day in order to plan work activities.

  • Plans inbound and outbound schedules according to meet customer metrics.

  • Responsible for sorting operations, productivity, efficiency, safety, and security.

  • Determines staffing needs based on workload and schedules staff accordingly.

  • Assigns workers to specific duties based on workload and shipping schedules.

  • Reviews and updates operational procedures as necessary and ensures they are communicated to and understood by the warehouse associates.

  • Tracks productivity and qualifies performance by individual, function, and department.

  • Advises employees on handling of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.

  • Traces the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.

  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.

  • Issues with written and oral instructions.

  • Ensures that proper safety procedures are followed.

  • Position is full-time and on-site.

  • Must be bilingual (English and French)

  • Must be available to work afternoons, nights and weekends, 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.

Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises up to 200 employees in the area of Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education And/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:

  • $70,000 - $75,000

*The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.

Nous recherchons un superviseur des opérations bilingue (anglais/français) pour superviser les opérations quotidiennes d’entreposage et de distribution dans un environnement dynamique et en évolution rapide. Ce poste est responsable de la coordination des horaires des opérations entrantes et sortantes, de la gestion des effectifs et de la productivité, du respect des normes de sécurité, ainsi que de la supervision d’une équipe pouvant aller jusqu’à 200 employés afin d’atteindre les objectifs opérationnels et les attentes des clients. Le candidat idéal est un leader impliqué sur le terrain, possédant de solides compétences en communication, en planification et en résolution de problèmes, capable de réussir dans un environnement à volume élevé et disponible pour travailler selon un horaire rotatif de quarts de 12 heures, incluant les après-midis, les nuits et les fins de semaine.

Responsabilités principales

  • Examiner quotidiennement le registre des rendez-vous entrants ainsi que le rapport des commandes ouvertes afin de planifier les activités de travail.

  • Planifier les horaires des opérations d’entrée et de sortie afin de respecter les indicateurs de performance des clients.

  • Assumer la responsabilité des opérations de tri, de la productivité, de l’efficacité, de la sécurité et de la sûreté.

  • Déterminer les besoins en personnel en fonction de la charge de travail et établir les horaires en conséquence.

  • Affecter les employés à des tâches spécifiques selon la charge de travail et les calendriers d’expédition.

  • Réviser et mettre à jour les procédures opérationnelles au besoin et s’assurer qu’elles sont communiquées et comprises.

  • Suivre la productivité et évaluer les performances par individu, fonction et département.

  • Conseiller les employés sur la manipulation des marchandises et l’utilisation des équipements.

  • Analyser les écarts d’inventaire et recommander des mesures correctives.

  • Déterminer les méthodes de travail, préparer les horaires et optimiser le flux de travail.

  • Fournir des instructions écrites et verbales.

  • Veiller au respect des procédures de santé et de sécurité.

Conditions du poste

  • Poste à temps plein, en présentiel.

  • Bilinguisme requis (français et anglais).

  • Disponibilité pour les quarts de soir, de nuit et les fins de semaine (quarts de 12 heures sur rotation).

Responsabilités de supervision
