Student Assistant - Industrial Real Estate (Early Careers)
Job Description
As a Student Assistant in Maersk Industrial Real Estate, you will be immersed in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will gain hands-on experience in real estate portfolio management, strategic decision-making, and global key projects.
This role offers the opportunity to develop valuable experience and build a broad network within Maersk, as well as exposure to top-level teams across the organization. Maersk Industrial Real Estate operates under Asset Strategy & Strategic Partnerships within Maersk Infrastructure.
We Offer
The Maersk Industrial Real Estate team is responsible for managing Maersk's logistics and industrial real estate portfolio, which includes warehouses, cold storage, and depots. Our work covers portfolio strategy and management, including transactions such as leasing, purchasing, development, construction, mergers and acquisitions, technical due diligence, property sales, investments, and project development.
By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to apply and deepen your real estate knowledge while working on complex, real-world projects with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, such as country and finance managers, real estate brokers, architects, lawyers, and developers.
Our team members come from a variety of backgrounds, fostering an exciting platform for development and knowledge sharing. You will experience an informal team culture with coaching and support from both your manager and colleagues. Additionally, you can expect to participate in formal training on topics like negotiation, project management, and stakeholder management.
We offer flexible working hours, especially during exam periods, and the position is based in Copenhagen.
Key Responsibilities
You will play an active role in managing global real estate projects for different product categories. You will take on significant responsibility early in your role and will be held accountable like any other team member. As you grow more familiar with the business, you will have ample opportunity to take on more responsibility in areas where you excel.
As a Student Assistant, your tasks will include:
Solving complex real estate business problems efficiently and professionally in collaboration with team members, requiring you to quickly learn about new markets and stakeholders.
Assisting in strategy development and creating impactful presentations.
Conducting market and financial analyses, then effectively communicating the conclusions.
Helping to execute team meetings and various events for Maersk Industrial Real Estate.
Managing the maintenance and development of the intranet site, internal data management, and Excel-based tools.
