About the role

As Site Manager in Taulov, Fredericia, you will have full accountability for the P&L and operations at the site. By managing these, you will have a direct impact on both the short- and long-term financial and operational objectives as outlined in the regional business plan. You will lead, guide, and develop operational activities across multiple products within the site, contributing significantly to the success of the Business Unit.

This role plays a critical part in supporting Maersk’s Integrator strategy, an ambitious growth area for the company, focused on providing end-to-end supply chain solutions. The Taulov site, a key Maersk warehouse in Denmark, serves as a central hub for our Maersk Contract Logistics (MCL) operations, delivering high-quality logistics services to a diverse customer base while enabling integrated supply chain solutions.

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Area Head of MCL for Nordics, you will be responsible for providing operational expertise, contributing to business planning, and supporting budgeting for the function. You will approve policies and procedures for site operations in alignment with the overall regional plan, and you will monitor performance against targets for the site. As an experienced site manager, you will lead, guide, and develop your team to ensure objectives are met while delivering operational excellence.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Profit & Loss

· Full P&L responsibility for Taulov site across all products and clients

· Customer and contract management

· Optimize site performance, cost efficiency, and asset utilization

· Drive continuous improvement and investment follow-ups

People & Culture

· Lead a team of engaged and high performing colleagues

· Advocate a safety first culture through training and education

· Foster positive culture and client satisfaction

Product & Strategy

· Execute Contract Logistics strategy in alignment with Area Head of MCL

· Business development and growth aligned with Integrator strategy

· Develop new customer relationships with area sales

· Manage site implementation, product mix, and growth targets

· Support tenders and expand business footprint

· Customize products while maintaining global standards

Operational Excellence

· Oversee daily operations and ensure HSSE compliance

· Manage subcontractors and service providers

· Maintain regulatory, IT, and security standards

General Management

· Lease administration and contract governance

Who we are looking for

An inspirational and proven site leader, who has extensive site management experience in contract logistics warehousing and distribution environment. You will ideally have experience operating in a cold store solution. You understand the operational processes, challenges and solutions that working in this role brings and have a real understanding of leading people in this environment. You possess excellent stakeholder management skills and can operate effectively in an international matrix organization and can play a pivotal role in developing our customers.

Lean thinking and continuous improvement are second nature to you, and you bring strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. You understand the local market and culture, excel in client interactions, and have a high level of financial acumen - reading, interpreting, and acting on P&L results comes naturally to you.
