  • As a Senior Communications Coordinator you will be responsible to Develop and implement the internal and external communication strategy for corporate affairs and public relations at APMT Quetzal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's internal and external communication strategy in the country.
  • Coordinate advertising and promotional plans in media outlets.
  • Promote stakeholder activities to enhance the company's corporate image.
  • Organize and host visits to the Terminal to foster better relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain an updated database of key contacts for public relations management.
  • Communicate the company's policies, guidelines, and strategies.
  • Coordinate the company's participation in various media to promote its services.
  • Arrange the company's involvement in forums, congresses, and meetings.
  • Provide support when required for meetings with chambers, trade associations, and authorities related to the company.
  • Oversee media and social media monitoring.
  • Coordinate with the regional team for the publication of news or relevant articles on social media and communication channels.
  • Supervise the publication of magazines and written media on port and maritime topics.
  • Prepare newsletters, flyers, press releases, and announcements on relevant topics.
  • Support assigned functions derived from the above responsibilities and assist the immediate supervisor.
  • Carry out other activities of similar nature and complexity as requested by the Area Manager. ​

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years in similar positions.
  • Management of technological tools, Office, social media.
  • Must be customer service oriented, sensitive to the needs of the departments and others.
  • Advanced English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Availability to work in the city and the port of Quetzal.
