Purpose of the position:

  • To support Site Lead and Process Head on automation initiatives.

  • To overall manage OTCX (One Team Customer Service) and MbM (Made by Maersk) productivity related tasks and ensure working efficiency is well maintained.

  • To contribute to automation activities in OTCX and MbM well coordinate with other functions and sites on automation plans.

  • To support and facilitate the global and area level projects in OTCX and MbM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with business teams, SME (Subject Matter Expert) to ascertain ‘Citizen led’ opportunities, identify end-user requirements and specifications; define automation solutions along stakeholders

  • Maintain and develop automation tools and scripts, including company business systems, automation tools, database, applications, etc.

  • Handle business-critical automation tasks and its improvements

  • Enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity

  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software

  • Create technical documentation for reference and governance.

  • Establishes and revises database by conferring with analysts and programmers to code and retrieve data

  • Train employees in using automation tools, and provide technical support when needed

Skills and Competencies:

  • Good in one of developing language like JavaScript, C, Python or Excel VBA, .NET, Power Automate, Power BI, Gen AI

  • Effective communication skills.

  • Strong learning, reasoning and problem-solving ability.

  • Excellent English required in verbal, reading and writing

  • Equip with positive and constructive attitude with creative thinking for team improvement and business driving.

  • Familiarity with Agile development technologies.

  • Work independently/excellent time management skill and multiple tasks handling ability.

  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually on a project; excellent time management skill and multiple tasks handling ability.

Preferred Educational Background / Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • A minimum of 3 plus year's proven experience in technology position

  • Experience in Service Industry
