Rider Job

• Pick up and deliver parcels, packages, documents, or goods according to assigned routes
• Ensure deliveries are completed within the required service level or delivery timeframe
• Verify shipment details, quantities, and recipient information before delivery
• Obtain Proof of Delivery (signature, photo, or electronic confirmation)
• Plan efficient delivery routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption
• Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors regarding delivery status, delays, or issues
• Maintain accurate delivery records using mobile applications or handheld devices
• Perform basic daily inspections of the motorcycle (fuel, tires, brakes, lights, engine oil)
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or delivery exceptions immediately
• Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company SOPs
• Maintain professionalism and provide courteous customer service

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Valid motorcycle riding license
• Good knowledge of local roads and navigation
• Safe and defensive riding skills
• Time management and route planning
• Basic smartphone and GPS navigation skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Physical fitness to handle frequent riding and package handling
• Previous delivery or courier experience is an advantage but not always required

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Mostly outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Long hours of motorcycle riding
• May work weekends, public holidays, or shifts
• Requires lifting and carrying parcels within company weight limits
