Key Responsibilities:
Individual is hired to for north America detention and demurrage team for focusing on the filing & pre-audit invoicing process for North America Detention and Demurrage process.
She/ He is also expected to understand the Root cause and help fix the same in the upstream process.
He/ She is responsible for the disputes reductions and improve better customer experience
Develop new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides as it related to D&D process.
Drive the day-to-day KPI of invoicing with 7 days
Drive the accuracy at 95%
Drive the filing timeliness of 4days
Productivity of the individual should be above 100%
Contact customers to resolve disputes
Who We Are Looking For:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or any related discipline from a reputable institution.
· Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a logistics or supply chain role / Customer Service exposure, preferably within the shipping and logistics industry.
· Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of logistics processes, such as cargo handling, shipment tracking, freight forwarding, and customs clearance, with a commitment to adhering to quality standards.
· Attention to Detail: Highly organized with a strong focus on the accuracy of logistics documentation, such as bills of lading, shipping manifests, and invoices.
· Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive and self-motivated, capable of performing root cause analysis to resolve logistics issues independently, such as shipment delays or route optimization challenges.
· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal teams and external logistics partners.
· Timeliness: Ability to manage time-sensitive logistics operations, ensuring that timelines are met for cargo delivery and customer commitments.
· Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, with the capacity to evaluate logistics performance metrics, optimize routes, and reduce lead times.
· Resilience Under Pressure: Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle logistics challenges, such as disruptions or high-priority shipments, with a high sense of urgency.
· Adaptability: Eager to learn and adapt to evolving logistics technologies, such as automated tracking systems and digital freight management.
· Teamwork and Independence: A collaborative team player who can also work independently in a logistics environment, coordinating with various stakeholders like transporters, warehouse staff, and customs officials.
· Work Environment Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic logistics environment, with adaptability to operational changes.
· Shift Flexibility: Open to working in NAM Shift (Night Shift), including evenings, weekends, and during high-demand periods such as peak shipping seasons.
· Technical Proficiency: Proficient in logistics-related software and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
