Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. **Shift: 8-5 or 7-4 Monday – Friday**
The Export Specialist offers critical customer service and operational advice to our Export customers. The individual is responsible for all export activities from end-to-end, including but not limited to: Booking Cargo, Documentation, Origin Trucking, Financial Execution, and Export Clearance Filings. To operate a flexible business, the Export Specialist must support crossfunctional support, when needed. This means, the ability to support other LCL teams during operational challenges (peak season, PTO, sick leave, maternity/paternity leave, etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Coord Clear & concise communication Issue Booking Confirmation from CargoWise One within 4 business hours of a new Booking Requested by customer.
- Supply Chain Management Control Origin Dwell, Target is <13 days Received in Export Warehouse to Actual Time of Departure
- Compliance AES (US Customs Clearance Filings) must be filed with complete filing requirements from the Exporter of Record. All pertinent documents for the Filing shall be saved to eDocs prior to actual date of departure. Original BL vs Sea Waybill – The shipper on the Bill of Lading shall confirm in writing (saved to eDocs) how they wish Maersk LCL to handle their Bill of Lading
- Finance o Cost Accruals (trucker, co-loader, warehouse, etc.) must be entered into CargoWise One immediately (no later than 4 business hours) following the service request
- Familiarize yourself with your customer rate cards/quotations. Identify if “Unhappy Flow” costs are billable and add the corresponding Revenue Accruals prior to Soft Close

- Be receptive to feedback from LCL Export Manager & LCL peers.
- Show ownership of your responsibilities. • Be diligent with record keeping on financial tasks.
- Be vocal when necessary
Accountable For
- Accountable for Customer satisfaction – are we meeting the contracted agreement?
- Accountable for Customer profitability – if you identify a concerning trend, be vocal to your leaders, especially your Finance team.
- Maintain healthy financial execution – limit Payables/CWTDL by entering cost accruals timely & accurately, Soft Close and flag the Shipment for Invoicing within Global KPI expectations.

PAY RANGE:
$24-25/hr
The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
