
Ocean Contract Management Team Lead
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and driven Team Lead – Tender & Contract Management to lead a high-performing team within our Global Service Center (GSC). This role plays a critical part in delivering seamless Quote-to-Contract execution, enabling sales success, and driving customer satisfaction across key markets.
You will act as a bridge between Sales, Product, and Operations, ensuring operational excellence, strong stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement in contract management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of ~15 tender and contract management professionals
Own end-to-end Quote-to-Contract delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to timelines
Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Product, and Operations
Drive customer outcomes by improving invoice quality, reducing disputes, and enhancing customer satisfaction (NPS)
Collaborate with global teams to identify and resolve process gaps and inefficiencies
Enable sales effectiveness through insights, contract accuracy, and performance tracking
Champion digital transformation and platform adoption (e.g., automation, new tools, system enhancements)
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, standardization, and scalability
Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk mitigation in contract execution
Support regional and global initiatives, including transformation programs and new product rollouts
Shift - 6PM to 3 AM (Can be rotational basis business needs)
Experience Required
Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience.
Minimum 3 years of people management experience - leading and managing a team of approximately 25–30 employees.
Proven ability to drive team performance, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver operational objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Who we are looking for
Master’s or bachelor’s degree from recognized university.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Customer Service, Tender, Sales and Performance Management
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and presentation capabilities.
Prior experience in team leadership or people management is required with Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on coaching and development
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with a data-driven mindset
High ownership, accountability, and customer-centric mindset
Open to working in perpetual night shifts supporting North America business operations.
Eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a dynamic global environment.
