Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
- Lead and supervise daily Finance Operations activities to ensure achievement of service, productivity, quality, and compliance targets.
- Monitor operational performance, identify issues and risks, and drive timely corrective actions.
- Manage resource allocation to ensure efficient operations and service continuity.
- Act as the first level escalation point for operational and customer-related issues.
2. Team Leadership & People Development
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Conduct performance management, regular feedback sessions, and development planning for team members.
- Support talent development, succession planning, and capability building within the team.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
3. Process Improvement & Transformation
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance service quality.
- Lead or support automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working to improve operational effectiveness.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
4. Planning & Performance Management
- Support workforce and capacity planning to ensure adequate resourcing for business demands.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement action plans to drive sustainable improvements.
- Prepare operational reports and provide insights to support management decision-making.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives and strategic priorities as assigned.
5. Stakeholder Management
- Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and improve customer experience.
- Ensure clear, proactive, and professional communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Represent the team in operational meetings, projects, and improvement initiatives.
6. Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support risk identification, escalation, and mitigation activities.
- Drive awareness and adherence to governance and compliance standards within the team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain management, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance Operations, Shared Services, BPO, or related operational functions.
- At least 2 years of experience in a people leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of operational processes, performance management, and service delivery.
- Proven experience in process improvement, automation, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills across different levels of the organization.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
