Job Purpose
This role will execute the objectives set by the organization for the BKS operation team in Chongqing. Focusing on delivering superior customer experience and drive profitability of the business handled.
Key responsibilities :
• Customer Onboarding & Implementation Management
Lead customer onboarding projects, including process mapping, operational solution design, resource planning, system setup, UAT coordination, SOP establishment, and go-live execution.
Ensure smooth and successful implementation of new accounts while meeting customer requirements, business expectations, and project timelines.
Identify implementation risks and drive mitigation plans throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
• Stakeholder Management & Cross-functional Coordination
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Experience, Product, Finance, IT, Process Excellence, and Operations teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of customer commitments.
Facilitate issue resolution and escalation management to minimize operational disruptions and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Team Management & Resource Planning
Lead, coach, and develop the Multiple-Carrier Operation Team to achieve operational excellence.
Plan and allocate resources effectively based on business volume, customer requirements, and team capabilities.
Ensure appropriate backup arrangements and workload balance across team members.
• Operational Compliance & Quality Management
Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies, SOPs, customer requirements, and industry regulations.
Monitor service quality and operational performance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce operational risks and enhance process efficiency.
• KPI & Service Delivery Management
Drive the team to achieve agreed operational KPIs, SLAs, productivity, and quality targets.
Monitor daily operational performance and proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and service issues.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure sustainable service excellence.
• Workforce & Attendance Management
Manage attendance, leave planning, shift arrangements, and workforce availability to ensure operational coverage.
Support business continuity planning and peak volume management.
• Performance Management & Talent Development
Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development discussions.
Build a high-performing team through effective talent management, succession planning, and capability development.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Required qualification, experience & skills
Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, supply chain, or transportation industries.
At least 2 years of people management experience leading operational teams.
Experience managing multi-carrier operations, customer onboarding, implementation projects, or key account operations is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of international logistics processes, including freight forwarding operations, booking management, transportation management, customs-related processes, and supply chain operations.
Experience supporting multiple transportation modes (Ocean, Air, Intermodal, or Contract Logistics) is an advantage.
Solid understanding of operational risk management and end-to-end process controls.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Able to communicate effectively with global customers, overseas teams, and senior stakeholders.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a proactive and result-oriented mindset.
Experience in process optimization, Lean/Kaizen initiatives, automation projects, or continuous improvement programs is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI.
Familiarity with logistics systems, TMS platforms, reporting tools, and digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
