Key Responsibilities


• Responsible for multicarrier and rented truck of inland operations across the country to ensure growth, profitability, and high customer satisfaction.
• Oversee and optimize transport routes (truck, rail) to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery, considering traffic, weather and operational risks.
• Supervise end to end freight order management, from booking to final dispatch, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
• Monitor shipment status proactively throughout its lifecycle, ensuring timely updates and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of inland operations; analyze shipment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with customers regarding shipment status, delays, or disruptions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, customers and internal teams.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve inland operational efficiency, including process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
• Drive effective vendor performance management through regular reviews and feedback sessions.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and transport related regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to business development and process innovation by identifying opportunities for improvement in inland logistics.
• Manage escalations and complaints during transportation, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure swift resolution.
• Lead and manage related inland team, provide coaching, training, and performance oversight in line with company policies and transport regulations.


We are looking for:


• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Around 6-8 years of experience in inland transportation, logistics operations, or supply chain management, preferably in a multinational or matrix organization. Fleet management experience is a must.
• Proven experience in managing teams and leading operational functions with a focus on performance, efficiency, and service delivery.
• Strong knowledge of transport planning, freight order management, and vendor coordination across multiple transport modes (truck, rail).
• Experience in working with transport management systems (TMS), ERP platforms, and digital logistics tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret operational data and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across functions and geographies.
• Proactive, structured, and customer-focused mindset with a passion for operational excellence.
• Fluency in English and Turkish, both written and spoken.
• Proficient at MS Office programs.
