About the Role

As a Key Account Manager at Maersk, you'll be at the heart of our business, helping drive our mission as a Global Integrator of Container Logistics. You’ll be supported by a dedicated team of specialists, including project managers and sales professionals, all focused on delivering exceptional customer success.

We’re looking for energetic individuals who thrive on solving complex logistics challenges and have a proven ability to build lasting customer relationships. You’ll bring a strategic mindset to identify opportunities, win new business, and expand Maersk’s offerings across our diverse portfolio of products.

Your Key Responsibilities

· Lead the pursuit of new and additional business within your assigned portfolio

· Identify, qualify, consult, and develop value propositions to sell large-scale supply chain solutions

· Cultivate and engage with new strategic, multi-level relationships within customer organizations

· Understand customer needs and buying factors, translating them into actionable account plans and strategies via Sales Force.com

· Collaborate with product and project teams to create and manage pursuit plans

· Develop and implement a global/local business plan to increase supply chain share of wallet

· Define the local value proposition and partner with local product teams to drive revenue growth

· Support customer satisfaction by enhancing the overall experience and aligning with Maersk’s global value proposition

· Upsell and cross-sell new products to drive additional business opportunities

· Achieve client profitability in alignment with budget targets

· Represent Maersk at industry events, verticals, and marketing opportunities

· Conduct regular customer calls and in-person visits, tailored to customer needs

· Share customer strategies with internal teams to ensure product development aligns with customer demands

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:

· Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to motivate teams, set clear priorities, and build long-lasting relationships at all levels

· In-depth expertise in International Logistics

· A self-driven and performance-oriented mindset

· Experience with consultative selling (preferred)

· A deep understanding of international logistics products and how to leverage them to meet customer challenges

· Strong negotiation skills with the ability to lead complex discussions and decision-making

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

· Curiosity and proactivity to drive results and learn

· A keen understanding of customer drivers, needs, and requirements

· Strong market knowledge and awareness of industry trends

· An entrepreneurial mindset, treating projects as your own business

· Expertise in using financial data and understanding account economics

· Ability to build and execute winning strategies and proposals

· Proficiency in technology platforms, MS Office, and the ability to quickly adapt to new software
