
Integrated Business Development Manager – Maersk Project Logistics

As an Integrated Business Development Manager, you will you will drive new business growth, develop strategic customer relationships, and deliver integrated supply chain solutions within the industrial manufacturing, project logistics and energy industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and execute a targeted account strategy within industrial manufacturing, project cargo and energy segments.
Develop and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline through proactive hunting.
Drive new business acquisition through prospecting, networking, and solution-based selling.
Understand customer supply chain needs and translate into tailored, value-driven solutions.
Position and sell end-to-end logistics and supply chain offerings.
Own commercial discussions, negotiations, and closing of new business.
Collaborate with internal CX, Product, and Operations teams for delivery excellence.
Ensure successful onboarding and long-term customer satisfaction.
Continuously gather market intelligence to refine targeting and positioning.
Accountabilities:
Drive country revenue growth and new customer acquisition
Increase share of wallet across logistics and services offerings
Ensure contract compliance and successful customer onboarding
Contribute to customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Provide insights into market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
Success Measures:
New logos acquired
Qualified pipeline value.
Pipeline conversion rate.
Project logistics opportunities qualified and converted.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Someone with:
At least 5 years’ experience
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain solutioning and consultative selling.
commercial experience within freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain services.
Proven experience within project logistics, project cargo, breakbulk, heavy-lift and/or out-of-gauge (OOG) transportation solutions.
Experience selling into Industrial Manufacturing, Mining, Energy, Renewables, Infrastructure or Oil & Gas sectors.
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain solutioning and consultative selling.
Ability to identify, develop, and expand opportunities within the industrial manufacturing, project logistics, and energy sectors.
Demonstrated hunter mentality with a proven track record of acquiring and growing new business.
Experience participating in RFQ, RFP and tender management processes.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build value propositions, develop account strategies and drive growth.
Experience developing integrated project logistics solutions across Ocean, Air, Inland, Customs and Warehousing.
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
Ability to collaborate across commercial, operational and product teams in a matrix environment.
Understanding of project cargo execution, stakeholder mapping, risk management and complex logistics requirements will be highly advantageous.
