As our operations grow in Denmark, we are looking for an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality agenda at our warehouse facility in Taulov, Fredericia. The site includes dry‑goods storage and food‑related activities subject to Danish food safety regulation, including audits from The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (Fødevarestyrelsen).

What You Will Do

As HSEQ Manager, you will be the driving force behind the site’s safety, quality, and environmental performance. You will ensure full compliance with Maersk’s global HSEQ standards as well as Danish legislation - with a strong focus on food handling, hygiene, and warehouse safety.

Your responsibilities include:

Quality, Food Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Danish food safety regulations, including preparation for and management of Fødevarestyrelsen inspections.
• Maintain and develop site Quality Management Systems, including SOPs, work instructions, and audit programs.
• Lead quality assurance processes around dry goods and food‑related activities, ensuring full traceability, hygiene standards, and documentation.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Lead the site’s HSE strategy and ensure alignment with Maersk’s global frameworks and policies.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety rounds, incident investigations, and ensure follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Strengthen the safety culture across all shifts by engaging leaders and frontline employees in proactive initiatives.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

• Support the implementation of HSEQ processes in our warehouse.
• Use data, audits, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and enhance operational standards.
• Train, coach, and support managers and employees on HSEQ topics, including Gemba walks, toolbox talks, and safety programs.

Stakeholder Leadership

• Partner closely with Operations, HR, Customer teams, and external authorities.
• Serve as the site’s HSEQ subject matter expert and trusted advisor for leaders and colleagues.
• Build strong cross‑functional collaboration to ensure compliance, preparedness, and high‑quality execution.

Who We Are Looking For

You are passionate about creating safe, high‑performing workplaces and ensuring that quality and compliance are embedded in daily operations. You bring:

• Solid experience in HSEQ or similar roles within logistics, warehousing, food handling, production, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of Danish food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and inspection requirements.
• Experience working with regulatory authorities such as Fødevarestyrelsen.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to translate HSEQ requirements into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• A proactive, structured, and hands‑on approach.
• Ability to influence, coach, and build a strong safety and quality culture.
• Fluency in Danish and English.
