This role is based in Bulim Ave Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive, promote and follow up initiatives / programs relating to health, safety and environment.

• Develop and continually improve the local management system and processes.

• Support, advise and work collaboratively with all levels of management and operations to ensure global, regional and area S&R requirements, and Business Continuity Management requirements are implemented and continually improved.

• Conduct compliance reviews and evaluation to ensure meeting operational legislative and regulatory requirements

• Identify training needs and conduct training for any health, safety and environment related training.

• Accident / Incident Management and investigation - follow up and verify CAPA till closure.

• Perform S&R audits, inspections and observations to ensure statutory, management system and global Maersk requirement compliance across all sites.

• Perform or coordinate internal and external auditing activities.

• HSSE Qualification for trucker/vendor and guidance for existing trucker/vendor on fulfilling customer requirement.

We are looking for

• Tertiary qualified in relevant field i.e. Safety, Environment, etc.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Safety or related functions

• Possess background in Logistics, Storage & Transportation with knowledge in Chemical/O&G.

• Registered as a certified Workplace safety & Health Officer with relevant local government authority

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and knowledge of Security Standards (C-TPAT & TAPA) will be an advantage

• Experience in conducting both internal and external audits

• Excellent communication skill

• Knowledge of Dangerous goods (IMDG/IATA)

• Possession of own transportation would be advantageous
