
Job Description
APM Terminals is looking for enthusiastic and driven graduates to join the Starseekers Graduate Trainee Program – Facilities at Nhava Sheva Terminal, Navi Mumbai. This 12-month traineeship offers hands-on exposure to facility management within a world-class port operations environment.
As part of the Facilities function, you will gain practical experience in managing workplace infrastructure, vendor coordination, and ensuring operational efficiency across administrative and facility services.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Transportation: Coordination with the service provider for –
Travel routes of vehicles/buses for the usage of employees.
Smooth movement of vehicles
Documentation for statutory compliances
Safe & secured transportation
Timely arrival of the buses
Routine upkeep of overall facility inclusive of buildings & terminal yards.
Redressal on complaints/ suggestions received from facility user employees.
Preparation of MIS Reports.
Resource management and allocation on daily basis.
Cost optimisation for all administration related services.
Ensure adherence to all the facility contracts.
Ensure Safety & Security of the workplace.
Monitoring & arrangement of pest control services as & when requested
Control and Management of all assets within the scope of administration
Preparation of PPT & excel charts for decision making.
Housekeeping: Allocation of resources & overall supervision.
Formalizing AMCs for cleaning equipment and maintenance.
Safety training to all the staff as per standards.
Assistance to the Head of HR & ER
Canteen Operations Management: Coordination and supervision of day-to-day canteen operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Monitoring food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards within the canteen premises.
Coordination with canteen vendors/service providers for timely availability of meals and refreshments.
Handling employee feedback and resolving concerns related to canteen services.
Ensuring statutory and hygiene compliance as per company and food safety standards.
Monitoring food wastage, consumption records, and preparation of related reports.
Ensuring proper maintenance and upkeep of canteen equipment and dining areas.
Other Required skills:
Good knowledge of MS Office- Advanced Excel, Word and Power Point
Fluency in verbal and written communication skills – Marathi & English
Team player
Sensitive, Service & solution oriented.
Time management skills to cope up with demanding work environment
