Global Control Tower Manager

We are looking for a Global Control Tower Manager.

As the Global Customer Manager, you will be responsible for delivering Maersk’s value proposition by ensuring exceptional service to assigned customers. You will lead a skilled team and serve as the primary point of contact, driving global performance, maintaining high data quality, and enabling visibility for effective decision-making. This role is critical in fostering customer retention and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

· Lead, coach and develop the Global control tower team

· Lead key client relationships, representing their interests internally and building a strong understanding of their business and service needs

· Take ownership of the key client's experience, delivering proactive and best-in-class service

· Ensure seamless end-to-end shipment execution by collaborating with customers, operations teams, program managers, and commercial stakeholder

· Proactively identify exceptions, seek right support for solution and support with resolution.

· Manage risk assessment processes to anticipate disruptions and implement mitigation strategies

· Drive compliance with agreed execution standards and customer-specific IOPs, monitor relevant KPIs, and ensure all regulatory and process requirements are met

· Manage analytics and data analysis for the account, delivering performance dashboards, milestone tracking, and reporting for the customer

· Ensure proper document handling in line with compliance regulations, internal procedures, IOPs, and SOPs

· Serve as the escalation point for the customer, following up on shipment issues and ensuring timely resolution throughout the transport process.

· Develop and maintain relationships with other internal functions

You will be accountable for

· Global customer satisfaction

· Create value for the customer and Maersk

· Builds strong customer relationships, actively captures customer feedback, and represents the customer’s voice within Maersk.

· Leads a flexible and scalable global control tower organization, ensuring effective and efficient resource management

· Drives continuous improvement by monitoring performance against KPIs and targets, taking corrective action when needed, and ensuring alignment across supporting teams.

· Promotes standardization and optimization by identifying gaps between operational performance and data output, and implementing action plans to close those gaps.

We’re looking for:

· At least 5 years of experience in a logistics role

· Previous experience from a control tower role is a strong advantage

· Strong leadership and coaching skills

· Composure under pressure and ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines

· Supply chain optimization knowledge

· Ability to manage stakeholders at various levels in the organization

· Independent, able to work with stakeholders all over the world

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
