We are hiring a Facility/Maintenance Manager for our advanced cold storage facility in Maasvlakte. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a large, complex operation featuring the most advanced cooling systems and technologies in the industry, along with a dynamic production environment. The site operates with many production lines, multiple shifts, and during peak periods, several hundred people may be active on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical services including maintenance of cooling systems, mobile racking, MHE, and packing lines.
• Manage service contracts, SLAs, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Conduct MHE onboarding tests and in-house training.
• Perform daily gemba walks to monitor equipment usage and safety.
• Advise on workplace safety and emergency procedures.
• Drive site KPIs and ensure high-quality technical service delivery.
• Collaborate with procurement and HSSE teams for compliance and alignment.
• Monitor and improve OEE performance through structured downtime analysis and root cause elimination of the state-of-the-art packing lines.
• Drive technical improvement and cost-saving projects, including energy savings, maintenance efficiency, and automation upgrades.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or University degree.
• 3+ years’ experience in technical or maintenance management.
• Experience in a multinational environment is a plus.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Program management experience including budgeting and planning.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations.
• Fluent in Dutch and advanced in English
• TAPA FSR and ISO certifications are considered an advantage, not a requirement.
