KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will manage and develop the local business relationship (controller in Vietnam), including performance for all customers interested in standardized products on short sales cycles. The customer profile(s) and portfolio(s) are BCO accounts; the product focus is Ocean freight, Air freight, LCL, Landside Transportation, and Value-added services. Some key tasks are:
1/ Manager Client Strategy and Planning:
Manage and develop the relationships within the customer portfolio.
Work closely with the local product organization to grow and deliver revenue growth
For customers with specific area importance, develop account business plans that encompass ocean as well as Logistic & Services products
2/Client Management:
Maintain an overview of the customer's business within the geography
Identify and win opportunities relevant to O&L products' direction setting
Sell standalone products depending on customer needs
3/ Define and deliver changes to business targets based on market/asset view:
Work with the Capacity / Campaign Manager function to formalize the commercial plans and ensure maximization of assets.
4/ Increase Customer Satisfaction:
Actively monitor local Net Promoter Score (NPS) across segments and drive local initiatives to improve customer satisfaction for all local Accounts
5/ Manage stakeholders across the area, region, and global functions:
Actively provide feedback to the sales channel lead based on customer feedback and insights
Critical competencies
At least 03 years of professional working experience in a sales or commercial roles in the logistics industry
Sales experience / Business Development / Hunting new customers is a big plus
Strong learning agility and passion for sales
Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Language proficiency: native Vietnamese level, fluent English level, and Chinese is a big plus.
Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
Good business acumen and industry expertise
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding listening and negotiation skills
Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
