Position Overview
Manage the performance of MCL Delivery, IDC, GVT, and Hudd in accordance with the contract and/or direction from the Head of Operations Support to maximize operational execution related to assigned account(s). Provide ongoing support to Technical Sales, KCM, CPM, and CX through direct communication, liaison activities, and escalation support with Account Senior Management.
Develop and implement strategies to create customizable MCL Delivery and GVT solutions based on account requests and needs from an operational perspective, while maintaining standard product offerings that deliver the most reliable and efficient service at the lowest possible cost. Build strong relationships across account internal departments and the network to ensure smooth execution of the end-to-end shipment lifecycle by working closely with both the account and internal teams (Direct Imports, Global Logistics, Transportation, Food, and IT).
Proactively solve complex challenges through accurate identification of underlying factors and root causes, addressing account requests and needs while maintaining awareness of how proposed solutions may impact other MCL Delivery, GVT, and Hudd accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as key POC with internal and external stakeholders across MCL Delivery IDC and GVT. Additionally, it serves as escalation POC for OPS, GVT and Hudd related concerns.
  • Claims and Receivables management for MCL Delivery IDC, GVT, and Hudd.
  • Coordinate with MCL Delivery Control Tower to oversee incoming and outgoing Account activities to ensure production accuracy and completeness, condition of shipments, and 3 PL Monthly Metrics for contractual compensation (Throughput, Revenue, Quality).
  • Daily support of Account Facility network (YMS/GVT accuracy, ASN/EDI Monitoring and audit, ASN/EDI failure resolution, Non-MCL Delivery 3PL GVT/BOL resolution)
  • Account specific GVT enhancement request and update management.
  • Account specific continuous improvement on a local, regional, and global scale.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders any Account concerns and/or issues that may impact their respective organizations.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders any Account ideas and solutions that may benefit their respective organizations.
  • Travel minimum 25%


Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Previous experience in supply chain, transportation, or distribution required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management staff, employees, and service providers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and proven experience of relationship management through business change and growth.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Extremely proficient with MS Office programs and strong overall system skills (YMS, TMS, WMS).
  • Strong leadership is attributed with the ability to drive performance across a diverse team of associates in an operation environment.
  • Strong development, training, and coaching skills. Ability to nurture growth and develop a strong bench.
  • Financial and analytical acumen in the areas of operations, cost management, pricing, and volume management
  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients directly.
  • Strong values and a bias for action in decision-making. Candidate must possess solid decision-analysis skills including cost/benefit analysis, investment NPV and break-even analysis.


Education or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred and higher degree of education.
  • 10+ years of experience in distribution and logistics industry, preferably with a diversity of experiences in manufacturing, transportation, distribution/warehousing, and sales management.

Pay Range:
$130,000-$150,000

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
