Key Responsibilities
The role supports Star depots by ensuring strong governance, standardized processes, and IT systems aligned with Maersk’s strategy and customer needs. Key responsibilities include embedding a consistent MOS culture, enhancing performance visibility through VMS, and maintaining a central data repository. The role also collaborates with Depot Managers to improve performance, generate ideas, and drive efficiency. In addition, it applies Lean and Process Improvement techniques to deliver continuous improvements across Maersk depots, partnering with Ops Excellence and support functions.
• Ensuring Star depots operate with stable, reliable Maersk IT infrastructure and standardized software aligned with market and customer needs.
• Establishing governance and maintaining standard process structures across Maersk depots in Europe.
• Driving digitalization and automation to improve safety, efficiency, and cost performance.
• Embedding a seamless MOS culture across depot teams, aligned with Maersk OS and stakeholders.
• Enhancing performance visibility through VMS and partnering with FBP to drive efficiencies across.
• Maintaining a central data repository and promoting a strong standards culture.
• Working with Depot Managers to improve performance and generate CI-driven solutions.
• Implementing Lean and process-improvement techniques in the Depots portfolio.
• Supporting depots in commercializing capacity when needed, interacting with other shipping lines or Customers.
• Co-sharing HSSE targets in collaboration with Depot Managers, HSSE, and Head of Depots.
