The Role
We are looking for a Customs Value Added Services Administrator to join our Bremerhaven team. In this role, you will support customs documentation processes for one of our strategic clients and ensure compliance with local and international regulations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics and customs operations while working in a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for import, export, and transshipment cargo.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry across systems and maintain compliance with regulations, including the Union Customs Code and Veterinary Authority requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Organize transport arrangements, container inspections, and related activities as required.
  • Monitor and maintain permits, authorizations, and licenses.
  • Assist in resolving operational issues and liaise with stakeholders such as warehouses, trucking companies, surveyors, and authorities.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Interest and motivation to learn about logistics and customs regulations.
  • Practical experience in logistics or customs clearance (ATLAS) is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage workload efficiently.
  • Proactive team player with a focus on accuracy and process excellence.
  • Good communication skills in German and English (required).
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Important Note:
This position requires fluency in German and residency in or relocation to the Bremerhaven area.
