Job Summary:
Responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales performance across an assigned customer portfolio within a designated geographical area or business cluster. The role focuses on securing new business, maintaining existing accounts, identifying customer needs, and contributing to overall business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Own overall sales responsibility for assigned customer relationships and portfolio performance.
Manage assigned customers and budget base in alignment with business objectives.
Identify customer needs and provide suitable business solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with target customers and assigned accounts.
Communicate market trends, rate changes, and company policies to customers effectively.
Research territories and identify potential customers and business opportunities.
Analyse competitive activities and industry trends to support business growth strategies.
Ensure CRM/customer relationship management tools are updated accurately and on time.
Drive customer satisfaction and retention within the assigned account base.
Handle medium-impact customer accounts across any size cluster or geographical area.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong sales and account management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Customer-focused approach with problem-solving skills
Market research and analytical capabilities
Relationship-building and stakeholder management
Knowledge of CRM tools and sales reporting systems
Ability to work independently and achieve sales targe.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
Relevant experience of 5 years+ in sales, customer management, or account handling
Experience in logistics/shipping/supply chain industry
