JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1/ Develop business with large potential to be future programme customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and networking.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified customer leads.
- Training and sharing with the product department about the new customers’ needs.
- Negotiate the global tender to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Accountable for the implementation and compliance of newly won opportunities by collaborating with Sales, Product and CX teams. Ensuring smooth onboarding of new customers.
2/ Engagement and Relationship Building
- Drive the engagement and relationship with new customers.
- Understand the customers' needs, pain points, and business challenges.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demos tailored to the customer's needs.
3/ Pre and Post Sales Responsibilities
- Ensure that solutions are fully scoped with robust pre-sales and post-sales engagement with the full commitment from solutions engineering, pricing and operational teams.
- Ensure that customers meet committed levels of volume and proactively address shortfalls.
- Ensure the smooth transition into key client management or to the primary account manager
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Have at least 10 years of senior experience in Business Development, Sales or other customer-facing roles in Freight Forwarders or Logistics companies. Prefer candidates with experience working in Senior Sales leadership positions (Vertical Sales Head, Senior BD Manager, etc).
- Have strong knowledge & experience in Contract Logistics.
- Have strong customer influence and persuasive selling skills.
- Have strong analytical skills. Confident working with numbers, financial & market data.
- Have a strategic mindset. Able to make strategic decisions based on the available data.
- Have strong stakeholder management skills. Able to influence and lead internal teams without direct authority.
- Have strong negotiation skill.
