Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented RFI Process Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in managing and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to logistics services. You will work closely with subject matter experts, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs, deliver accurate and compelling responses, and maintain a centralized content repository. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage End-to-End RFI Process: Own the RFI process for logistics services, ensuring timely, high-quality responses.
- Cross-Regional Collaboration: Liaise with subject matter experts across global regions to collect and consolidate required inputs.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Work closely with Sales colleagues to understand customer needs and align responses accordingly.
- Content Management: Build, maintain, and continuously update a repository of content on logistics products and services.
- Documentation & Tracking: Maintain comprehensive logs of RFI submissions and ensure documentation is consistently up to date.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the RFI handling process and support improvement initiatives.
- Adaptability & Flexibility: Effectively manage ad hoc tasks and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and information accuracy.
- Communication: Ensure high standards of written communication; must be fluent in English, both reading and writing.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Total Experience: 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field, ideally with exposure to RFI/RFP processes.
- Tools & Technologies: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with content management tools is a plus.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of logistics services (freight, transportation, warehousing, etc.).
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, versatile environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with CRM or bid management tools (e.g., Salesforce, RFPIO, Loopio).
