Job Description
As a CHB Operations Associate, you play a critical role in ensuring our customers’ imports move smoothly, compliantly, and on time. You will manage end‑to‑end customs brokerage operations for a dedicated portfolio of accounts, partnering closely with customers, carriers, government agencies, and internal teams.

What You’ll Do
You will take ownership of daily customs brokerage operations for assigned customers, including:
Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers, responding to questions and providing timely, accurate shipment updates
Prepare and process U.S. Customs entries and Partner Government Agency (PGA) filings, ensuring full regulatory compliance
Open and manage entry files in alignment with defined KPIs and service standards
Coordinate shipment clearance with freight forwarders, steamship lines, airlines, and container freight stations (CFS) to ensure timely release
Track and trace inbound shipments from port or airport through final delivery
Ensure all required documentation and entry packages are accurately uploaded into operating systems
Complete customer billing, delivery orders, and required operational reports
Maintain and update customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed
Collaborate closely with teammates and cross‑functional partners to support coverage, cross‑training, and peak‑volume needs

Assigned customs brokerage customers
Government agencies (CBP, FDA, USDA, and others)
CHB systems and technology vendors
Required / Preferred Qualifications:
6–12 months of customs brokerage or related industry experience
At least 2 years in a CHB or operational support environment preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working under pressure
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Team‑focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)
Customs House Broker License preferred but not required
