🎯 About the Role
As Procurement Category Manager – People Services, you will drive global category management and procurement strategies across People Services area.

You will act as a trusted partner to HR, Talent Acquisition, and our business stakeholders, delivering value through strategic sourcing, supplier management, and data-driven decision-making.

This role plays a key part in strengthening procurement maturity and enabling Maersk’s ambitious transformation agenda.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute global category strategies for People Services aligned with business priorities
Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFx processes, supplier evaluation, and negotiations
Analyze spend and supplier data to identify cost-saving and value creation opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support business needs
Own key commercial elements, including pricing, contracts, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), including governance, performance reviews, and continuous improvement
Lead cross-functional procurement projects and initiatives
Ensure procurement best practices and process improvements are implemented
Act as a point of contact for day-to-day category-related queries
👤 Who We’re Looking For
Core Profile

Develop and execute global category strategies for the People Services category and also be involved in other categories within the indirect space aligned with our business priorities
Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFx processes, supplier evaluation, and negotiations
Analyze spend and supplier data to identify cost-saving and value creation opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support business needs
Own key commercial elements, including pricing, contracts, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), including governance, performance reviews, and continuous improvement
Lead cross-functional procurement projects and initiatives
Ensure procurement best practices and process improvements are implemented
Act as a point of contact for day-to-day category-related queries
Drive the AI procurement transformation within area of responsibility
👤 Who We’re Looking For
Core Profile
Strong procurement and category management experience, ideally within professional services
Proven ability to manage complex sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations
Solid understanding of commercials, contracts, and procurement governance
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data
Ability to operate across strategic, tactical, and operational levels
Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field
Experience developing and executing global category strategies
Exposure to People Services categories (e.g., recruitment, HR services, consulting) is highly valued
Experience using digital procurement tools and data analytics
