Our experts are skilled in project transport solution design, special cargo transportation, specialized transport asset management, and project management services, including detailed planning, orchestration, and sequencing of end-to-end shipments from suppliers to often remote and austere destination sites.

Key responsibilities

Business Development

  • Drive business growth for Maersk Project Logistics (MPL) across Southeast Asia & Mekong by developing and qualifying new opportunities.

  • Partner with commercial teams to build a healthy sales pipeline and support strategic customer pursuits.

  • Engage customers alongside sales teams to promote MPL capabilities and develop winning business opportunities.

  • Develop and execute regional business development strategies to expand Maersk Project Logistics' market presence and achieve sustainable revenue growth.

  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to identify emerging opportunities and drive long-term business success.

Solution Design & Commercial Excellence

  • Design competitive, customer-centric and commercially viable project logistics solutions.

  • Lead the RFI/RFQ/RFP process, ensuring high-quality proposals aligned with global product standards.

  • Collaborate with solution, pricing and commercial teams to deliver timely proposals, review contracts, and maximise opportunity profitability.

  • Develop integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions by leveraging Maersk's global network and cross-product capabilities to deliver differentiated customer value.

Regional Centre of Excellence

  • Serve as the regional subject matter expert for Maersk Project Logistics, providing technical, commercial and market expertise.

  • Coach and support commercial teams, driving capability development and increasing awareness of MPL solutions across the region.

  • Champion the voice of the customer by translating market insights into innovative solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.

We’re looking for

  • At least 10 years of experience in Project Logistics within the freight forwarding industry.

  • Strong expertise in project cargo, heavy lift, breakbulk, and multimodal logistics.

  • Demonstrated success in business development, identifying opportunities, and securing complex logistics projects.

  • Proven experience leading RFI/RFQ/RFP, tender management, pricing, and commercial proposal development.

  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse customers, commercial teams, and regional stakeholders.

  • Strategic mindset with a strong customer focus and a proven ability to translate business opportunities into practical logistics solutions.

Preference will be given to candidates who are currently based in Singapore and have existing work authorization.
