Compliance Advisor

Are you passionate about customs regulations, compliance and risk management?

We are looking for an engaged and proactive Compliance Advisor who wants to play a key role in strengthening our compliance program and ensuring adherence to customs regulations, laws, regulations and internal policies.

As a Compliance Advisor, you will be an important business partner to managers and employees, helping to identify, assess and manage compliance risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and support to the business on compliance and ethical matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and quality reviews.
  • Develop and update policies, procedures and governing documents.
  • Plan and deliver training and awareness initiatives.
  • Follow up on whistleblowing cases and support internal investigations when required.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business.
  • Contribute to reporting and presentations for management and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Education and/or experience relevant to compliance, customs regulations, risk management or international trade.
  • Experience within compliance, internal controls, auditing, risk management or related disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
