Job Description
APM Terminals
Do you want to work in a dynamic and challenging environment?
APM Terminals Maasvlakte II (MVII) is one of the world’s most advanced and highly automated container terminals, strategically located in the Port of Rotterdam. As part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group and the global APM Terminals network, we actively contribute to enabling global trade and fostering sustainable economic growth.
What sets MVII apart is our culture of innovation, safety and operational excellence. The Lean methodology is deeply embedded in our way of working – from continuous process improvement to cross-functional teamwork at ground level. At MVII, you’ll be part of a forward-thinking, data-driven environment built on continuous improvement. Join us and contribute to a terminal that sets the global benchmark.
With the terminal set to double in size through the ambitious Terminal Expansion Project and a Transformation, APMT Maasvlakte II is entering an exciting phase of growth and technological advancement. This project involves expanding terminal capacity and integrating advanced technologies, including autonomous trucks, automated systems, and cutting-edge logistics processes. Similarly, the organization is being developed to be fit for the future expanded terminal. Delivering a fully integrated, commissioned, and operational terminal to a trained operations team is a key objective.
The position
As a Test Lead, you will be responsible for planning, (partly) executing, and documenting the testing and commissioning activities of Automated Rail-Mounted Gantry Cranes (ARMGs), Super Quay Cranes (SQCs), Barge Feeder Cranes (BFCs), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Autonomous Terminal Tractors (ATTs) and Rail Gantry Cranes (RGCs) as part of the Maasvlakte II expansion project.
