Are you ready to lead the charge in delivering seamless customs operations for some of the world’s most complex and high-volume accounts?
Join us as an Area Operational Customs Key Account Manager, where you’ll be the strategic operational lead for multi-country customers, ensuring consistent service delivery, driving harmonization, and championing customer success across regions.
What You’ll Do
As the Single Point of Contact for key regional and global accounts, you will:
- Own the operational relationship for high-volume, multi-country customers
- Coordinate cross-Area service delivery, ensuring harmonized standards under the Maersk Customs Services (MCS) brand.
- Resolve escalations swiftly, connecting stakeholders across geographies to deliver solutions with speed and transparency.
- Lead structured Business Reviews, driving continuous improvement through performance insights and customer feedback.
- Identify strategic opportunities to optimize customs processes and elevate end-to-end service performance.
Who we are looking for
You’re a seasoned operations professional with:
- Deep expertise in Ocean and Customs processes, and a proven track record managing complex, multi-country accounts.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, able to navigate matrix structures and drive alignment across functions.
- A customer-centric mindset, with strong communication, coordination, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- A strategic thinker, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and deliver value.
Your Impact
You’ll be responsible for accounts with annual volumes ranging from 10K to 200K+, spanning multiple countries and Areas. Your leadership will directly influence customer retention, operational excellence, and strategic growth.
