Job Description

The Role

As our Vice President Product and Product Management, you will be responsible for leading both the product development and product management teams and overseeing the entire product process. You will work closely with the company's executive team and other key stakeholders to develop product strategies that align with the company's overall business goals, with a specific focus on the transition from our FPM solution into a world leading CPM solution and expanding our portfolio with new products and features through M&A activities. This is a senior leadership role, reporting into our Chief Technical Officer, that requires a strategic thinker who can manage complex projects and drive innovation.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement product strategies that align with the company's overall business goals, with a specific focus on the transformation from an on-premise solution to a SaaS solution and expanding our portfolio with new products and features through M&A activities
  • Manage the entire product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring that products are developed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Lead the product development team and ensure they are aligned with the company's vision and goals
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and opportunities for innovation in the CPM space
  • Work closely with the executive team to set product development priorities and allocate resources accordingly, with a focus on the transition to a SaaS solution and expanding our product portfolio
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors, to ensure that our products meet the needs of the market
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption and revenue growth
  • Analyze product performance data to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly, with a specific focus on our SaaS solution and expanding our product portfolio
  • If you are not working in Berlin at our HQ, business trips to Berlin and also to our Tech. HUB are also part of your duties

What you bring to the table

  • At least 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on software products and services, desirable in the CPM space
  • Experience managing a product development team and overseeing complex projects
  • Proven track record of developing successful product strategies and bringing products to market, with a specific focus on transitioning from an on-premise solution to a SaaS solution and expanding the product portfolio through M&A activities
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Passion for innovation and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Analytical mindset, penchant for data driven decisions and experience setting up and tracking relevant KPIs
