The Role
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our Financial Consolidation offerings, ensuring they meet customer needs while maintaining a strong focus on timely delivery and high-quality features. Your deep domain knowledge and leadership skills will drive the success of our product in the market.
What you'll do
- Leading and guiding the Scrum team to develop and deliver impactful product solutions within the Financial Consolidation domain
- Demonstrating a keen understanding of the product domain, industry, and complex technical concepts to effectively contribute to product development
- Taking ownership of specific parts of the software, overseeing features and capabilities related to Financial Consolidation modules
- Collaborating closely with subject matter experts, business analysts, and designers to define requirements and ensure smooth implementation
- Actively participating in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives
- Managing and maintaining the product backlog, aligning it with the product roadmap and vision
- Serving as the business and customer representative within the teams and engaging with external stakeholders to translate customer needs into product features
- Building extensive domain knowledge about our solution and driving the product roadmap through market research, competitive analysis, and feature prioritization
What you bring to the table
- Fluent proficiency in German, enabling you to comprehend domain-related documentation and publications often written in German (e.g., Beck’scher Bilanzkommentar etc.)
- Strong knowledge in the domain of Financial Consolidation or a background in accounting with a keen interest in learning and understanding the Financial Consolidation domain
- Exceptional communication skills for effective internal and external collaboration
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to find suitable solutions
- Optional: Knowledge of LucaNet or a comparable product (e.g., SAP FCCS, SAP FC, HFM, Tagetik, IDL Konsis, SigmaConso)
- Optional: Previous experience as a Product Owner in an Agile environment, preferably holding PSPO/CSPO certification
- Optional: Experience as a Product Owner in the Financial Performance Management (FPM), Corporate Performance Management (CPM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or Business Intelligence (BI) software market
- A university degree with a business focus in accounting
