The Role

We are looking for an Account Executive to provide outstanding consultative customer experience, as part of the Sales Process. With your positive ‘can solve’ attitude, you will uncover prospect's business challenges and identify new business opportunities. Our team in the Netherlands is a highly ambitious group of people who are actively driving the growth of a global SaaS company.

We’re looking for smart, passionate and inquisitive sales professionals with a keen interest in finance technology. As an Account Executive, you are critical to our growth, you’ll be responsible for generating, building and winning new business from prospects and existing customers across all verticals in the Netherlands.

What you'll do

  • Develop strategies and plans for each target and win new customers to grow the overall ARR.
  • Responsible for building, working and maintaining your pipeline.
  • Engage at multiple levels within each prospect account (eg. Group FC, CFO and FD) to maximize account engagement and long-term success.
  • Maintain, build, and own specific relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contacts.
  • Close deals and gain customer validation.
  • Focus on the generation of new businesses for a growing regional team.
  • Identify robust set of business drivers behind all opportunities.
  • Develop a deep comprehension of customers’ business needs.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges.

What you bring to the table

  • Several years of direct/channel sales experience in the field of financial software solutions, SaaS and/or EPM Solutions.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment and interacting with senior level executives including our Managing Directors and external CFOs, Finance Heads, etc.
  • Demonstrate relevant sales methodology to prospects.
  • Good knowledge in lead generation and sales development.
  • Possess strong business and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Superior communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Experience in using Salesforce is a bonus.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
