What you will be working on

As our Operational Risk Manager, you'll be responsible for working across a wide range of risks spanning traditional insurance, algorithmic underwriting and the specific risks presented through the cover holder partnership model. Ki’s Operational Risk Manager reports to the Risk Director and is responsible for managing Ki’s operational risk and control framework in line with the Risk Management Framework and relevant regulations. Provide operational risk oversight and challenge alongside monitoring and reporting on operational risk matters to various risk committees.

About you

You’ll use your previous experience within risk operations, leading the articulation, monitoring, and reporting of operational risk appetite at all levels. Able to ensure that the operational risks are fully understood, and the right risk / reward balance is achieved. You’ll be a strong conceptual thinker, having the ability to engage with risk owners and the wider business to promote first line risk management and a strong risk culture at all levels. Represent Risk on committees as required.
