Job Description

The Role:

  • Reporting directly into the Head of Paid Search & managing a team of 3 - 5 analysts ranging in experience.

  • Responsible for the strategy and performance of a portfolio of clients, ensuring we meet or exceed their targets.

  • Ensuring we deliver a best in class paid search management service for our clients

  • Take ownership of strategic client partnerships and develop long lasting genuine relationships with your client contacts.

  • The management and training of your team is a crucial part of this role.

  • Work closely with the Partnerships/Marketing team on new business and marketing opportunities.

Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the strategy and planning of award winning and market leading performance marketing campaigns for delivery amongst you and your team.

  • Owning and nurturing senior-level relationships with your clients.

  • Responsible for your team’s smooth operation and organisation; including weekly one-to-ones with your team members (to check-in, discuss opportunities for development and gauge progress against PDPs) as well as team-wide weekly meetings to discuss your clients and supervise strategic forward-planning for each.

  • Training & developing paid search analysts within your team ensuring their continued growth and that they are meeting their quarterly personal objectives.

  • Auditing campaigns and workflow processes to ensure continual improvements to productivity and quality of work; best practice documentation, training and auditing is a crucial part of this role.

  • Supporting new business with pitch preparation and delivery.

  • Supporting marketing with content and thought leadership.

  • Maintenance of documentation / process decks / training decks.

  • Ensuring the company's core values are being upheld throughout all levels of the business - setting an example for your team.

Essential skills and competencies required

  • 4+ years working across Paid Search

  • Experience working within a similar role at an agency

  • Experience with the full suite of Google Ads products (Search, Display, UAC, YouTube)

  • Experience working across a set of clients in different ecommerce verticals

  • A proven track record of delivering high performance with large, complex campaigns

  • Proven record of training and developing junior members of the team

  • A lean, data-driven mentality and strong bias for A/B testing and experimentation

  • A keen eye for detail

  • A willingness to learn, research and use initiative

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, including high level of English grammar

  • High level proficiency with Microsoft Excel including Pivot, SUMIF and other formulae

  • Proven presentation and PowerPoint skills

  • Experience working across teams with teams who do not report to you

  • Enthusiasm and confidence with the ability to interact well with people on a personal and professional level and to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure environment

Preferred experience

  • Experience with SQL

  • Facebook, LinkedIn and other ad platforms experience

  • Experience using Google Ads Scripts & automation

FROM TIME TO TIME YOU MAY BE REQUIRED TO UNDERTAKE REASONABLE DUTIES WHICH ARE OUTSIDE THIS JOB DESCRIPTION.

The Package

  • Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum

  • Holidays: 25 (plus Bank Holidays) + an extra day for each year of tenure

  • Location: Work From Anywhere with occasional attendance required at our HQ in Kennington
