The role

As part of Huel’s ambitious growth plan and evolution, at the start of 2024, we will be bringing our warehouse operations in house with the build of our brand new facility 🏭 !

Based in Milton Keynes, as part of our new Manufacturing team within our Operations Function, you’ll have the chance to play a pivotal role in Huel’s exciting next steps by leading the setup and embedding of the warehousing activities on the site.

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the operations of Huel’s warehouse are delivered in a safe, efficient and organised manner. Simply put, you’ll be leading a team of warehouse staff to ensure that the right partners have the right materials at the right times, from collecting and delivering raw materials to our manufacturing team, to coordinating the dispatch of finished goods to our fulfilment partners 🚚.

It goes without saying that, these responsibilities are executed with impeccable inventory accuracy and ensuring the safe storage and handling of all items stored in the warehouse, alongside your the safety of your team 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️!

What we're looking for in you

You’ll have a strong background in warehouse management, ideally in the food industry and are as we mentioned, its a new chapter for Huel so it’s really important we have someone who is motivated and excited by the opportunity to to use their expertise to build this new function and team for Huel 🚀.

Alongside strong experience in team leadership, excellent organisational skills and a highly process driven approach and you’ll be familiar with food industry regulations, health and safety practices, and will be comfortable working with digitized warehouse management software and hardware to keep things on track 🧠.

As the lead in this new team, it’s also really important you can keep cool under pressure and ensure the smooth running of the warehouse whilst looking at how we can improve processes to maximise efficiency⏱️!
