The role

To help ensure we continue delivering a first-class experience to our Hueligans, we are looking for an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Manager to join us who can help maintain the safety and quality standards of our Powders, Bars and Ready-to-drink products 🦺 .

This role will see you work closely with our US manufacturing and ingredients supply base ensuring that all sites operate above the local safety and quality standards and adopt a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll be a key technical contact and work closely with our suppliers, auditing them and setting clear action plans to ensure they meet our high standards, deliver KPIs and address issues 🏭.

The role needs to be based ideally out of Illinois (one site is North of Chicago) but will have requirements to travel periodically across the US visiting sites in Utah and California alongside visits to our office in New York City.

What we're looking for in you

This role will best suit someone with around 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing business 🏭. You’ll need to have a thorough understanding of food safety criteria and an understanding of food legislation and food manufacturing standards. GFSI/SQF experience will be required. Some knowledge of UK/EU/BRC standards is not essential but would be useful to help work towards Huel standards⭐. You'll also need to be able to travel and have a full US driving licence 🚗
