The Opportunity
As a Solution Architect at hedgehog lab, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including clients, product managers, software engineers, and project managers, to analyse, define, and document requirements for various technology initiatives. Your exceptional analytical and communication skills will enable you to contribute to the successful implementation of projects, ensuring that they align with business objectives and meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Elicit and document detailed business and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing systems and processes.
- Business Analysis: Analyse and understand complex business processes, systems, and user needs to recommend effective solutions.
- Technical Solution Design: Collaborate with software engineers and architects to design technical solutions that fulfil business requirements and align with architectural best practices.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive requirement documents, functional specifications, use cases, and workflow diagrams that facilitate efficient development and testing.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivered solutions meet the specified requirements and perform thorough testing to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, proactively communicating project progress, updates, and potential risks.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of project deliveries.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to propose innovative solutions and best practices.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, assisting them in effectively adopting new technologies and solutions.
About You
- 4+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Solution Architect, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development methodologies, database concepts, and system integration. Proficiency in gathering and documenting technical requirements is essential.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex information to make informed decisions.
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the
ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
