THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to support our US entity who is passionate about providing a high quality service and working with a dynamic and forward-thinking team. The role will be varied and you will have a range of duties including the following:

• Handling all aspect of accounts receivables and accounts payables
• Month end reconciliations and journals including accruals and prepayments
• Intercompany reconciliations.
• Supporting with monthly management reporting
• Maintaining and submitting the bi-weekly payroll
• Proactively reviewing current processes and procedures and implementing changes where necessary to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of a growing business.
• Project work on an ad-hoc basis.

To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Experience with Xero and US accounting would be preferred.
• Excellent data processing skills and a high level of attention to detail
• The ability to work flexibly and respond to increased pressure of work throughout a month
• Superior interpersonal skills and a positive, approachable manner
• Have a professional home working environment
• A Wifi connection. Minimum of 2 mbps up and download speed
• Have a real passion for supporting people to improve their lives
