THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to support our US entity who is passionate about providing a high quality service and working with a dynamic and forward-thinking team. The role will be varied and you will have a range of duties including the following:
- Handling all aspect of accounts receivables and accounts payables
- Month end reconciliations and journals including accruals and prepayments
- Intercompany reconciliations.
- Supporting with monthly management reporting
- Maintaining and submitting the bi-weekly payroll
- Proactively reviewing current processes and procedures and implementing changes where necessary to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of a growing business.
- Project work on an ad-hoc basis.
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Xero and US accounting would be preferred.
- Excellent data processing skills and a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to work flexibly and respond to increased pressure of work throughout a month
- Superior interpersonal skills and a positive, approachable manner
- Have a professional home working environment
- A Wifi connection. Minimum of 2 mbps up and download speed
