Job Description

📍 Location - hybrid at our office in East London 2 days a week, the rest from home (or in the office, it’s up to you!)

Please note, this is a junior role within our team!

Our mission:

  • We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution 🏠
  • Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 350 Goodlordians supporting the mission! 💚

The Opportunity:

  • Reconciling our client monies account daily
  • Ensuring that our accounting system always balances against supporting records and that we are always audit ready
  • Making daily payouts to our customers from our client account
  • Keeping all client account ledgers up to date and reconciled with our current accounts
  • Dealing with customer, payment supplier & internal queries related to payments

What we need from you:

  • solid experience working within a finance team, ideally reconciling high numbers of transactions
  • strong numerical skills, being part of our finance team this is essential - No surprises there though!
  • Strong knowledge of excel and ability to use formulas such as sumifs, vlookup, xlookup
