Your Mission

As a Lead Learning Experience Designer at Fourthrev, you will have a positive impact on people’s lives by designing and developing educational experiences that help every learner to achieve their career goals within the digital economy. You will lead by example, and foster creativity and development within your team.

What your day to day will look like with us

  • Champion and exemplify FourthRev’s values across the team and within the organisation while demonstrating commitment to vision and strategy.
  • Support LXD Manager to perform programme research, co-design, and planning.
  • Lead the research, design/co-design, development, evaluation and improvement of educational content and learning assets to ensure FourthRev products meet the required standard and post-graduate level qualification requirements, including but not limited to:
    • Written materials
    • Assessment tasks and activities
    • Peer-to-peer activities
    • Videos, graphics, and other media.
  • Responsible for the quality review of course and programme assets, including but not limited to, content storyboards, video scripts and other assets to ensure they:
    • align with course- and programme-level outcomes
    • align with course- and programme-level structure
    • follow sound pedagogical principles
    • are ready for sign-off by the Manager LXD.
  • Be capable of and willing to perform learning design end-to-end, including course and programme mapping, learning content development, review and improvements.
  • Lead a team of LXDs and Sr LXDs to provide ongoing support, guidance through clear communication and feedback via 1:1s, team meetings, providing regular informal feedback on performance, conducting performance reviews, and creating and supporting development plans.
  • Lead, collaborate, and liaise with peers, cross-functional team members, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders, including clients and partners, as required.
  • Support LXD Managers and LXD Director in:
    • Setting up and operating effective systems and cross-functional processes.
    • Planning and management of new initiatives and projects.
    • Performing industry research and analysis to inform curriculum.
  • Support the project management of programme and course build and ongoing product enhancement processes by informing the project plan, ensuring team’s work is delivered to deadlines and communicating risks.
  • Manage and lead creation and maintenance of team templates and asset standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, mentor and coach individuals through skills development, proactively communicate, and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience of designing and developing high-quality, learner-centric online learning experiences.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with quality performance.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Willingness to embrace the unknown, be flexible and to continually learn in an ever-changing environment.
