What this role means to us
Pace is on the mission to help commercial teams capture the $100+ billion revenue leakage generated by manual, opinion-based, and reactive commercial decision making.Today we have 1,000+ customers in 45 countries, for whom we manage over $3B of annual revenue. 80%+ of that revenue is under price automation on the Pace platform.You will be working closely with Pace’s CEO and 4 other Sales Directors to accelerate our growth in strategic markets.
What you will be responsible for
Acquisition. Acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing). You are not afraid to get your hands dirty, build relationships with prospects, demo the Pace platform and close deals.GTM Strategy & Leadership. Developing and executing successful & fast-scalable go-to-market strategies. Conduct market research and analysis to create business plans on commercial opportunities.Complex Sales. Successfully manage complex deal cycles with multiple stakeholders, building consensus while selling to power. Marshall and manage internal resources to support deal cycles.Thought leadership. In the travel industry, to advocate for data driven approaches to revenue management, distribution and commercial decision making. Building relationships with industry partners, attending conferences and events.
You’ll be a good fit if…
- You’ve held titles along the lines of: Sales Manager, Senior Account Executive or Sales Director.- You have a good few years of end to end B2B SaaS sales experience under your belt.- You’re used to working with complex solutions. Did you have to manager multiple stakeholders throughout your sales cycle? Was the product complex? Have your past sales cycles been long (6+ months)?- When we speak we’d like you to be able to tell a story of a proven track record of success referencing previous sales roles. We’d like you be able to back up your impressive CV with some hard numbers.
The nice to haves:
- We’re looking for English speakers but if you speak French, German or Spanish it would be a bonus!- If you come to us already speaking ‘hospitality’, you’ll ramp up much more quickly.
This role may not be for you if…
- You’ve sold mainly out-of-the-box SaaS or the majority of your experience is in transactional or mid-market sales.- You enjoy working in highly structured process driven environments and dislike any kind of ambiguity.
